DRAGON FRUIT SMOOTHIE

INGREDIENTS

  • 2 1/2 cups Mariani Vanilla Walnutmilk

  • 1 tablespoon chia seeds

  • 1/4 cup rolled oats

  • 1 banana, frozen

  • 1-2 cups dragon fruit (or other favorite fruit), frozen

  • 4 Walnutmilk ice cubes

  • 2 teaspoons honey

  • Toppings: fresh fruit, peanut butter, hemp seeds, chia seeds, Mariani Sliced Almonds


INSTRUCTIONS

  1. In a small bowl, mix together the Vanilla Walnutmilk with the chia seeds and rolled oats. Allow to rest for 10 minutes.

  2. Gather and prepare remaining ingredients.

  3. To the bowl of a high-speed blender, add the banana, dragon fruit, Walnutmilk ice cubes and honey. Add the chia seeds, oats and Walnutmilk mixture. Blend on LOW, pushing down any fruit from the sides until a thick and creamy smoothie is formed.

  4. If needed, add additional Mariani Walnutmilk to the smoothie, 1-2 tablespoons at a time.

  5. Remove smoothie immediately from the blender or food processor, pour into a bowl and top with desired fruit, nuts or seeds. Enjoy!
