Iced Rose Matcha Latte


INGREDIENTS

  • 1 ½ teaspoons matcha powder

  • 1 tablespoon water

  • 2 tablespoons culinary rose petals, plus some for garnish

  • 1 cup Vanilla Mariani Walnutmilk

  • 2 teaspoons agave nectar


INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Add the matcha powder to a cup with a tablespoon of water.  Whisk together until smooth.  There should be no lumps of matcha powder.

  2. Add the walnutmilk, rose petals, and agave to a small saucepan.  Bring to a simmer over medium-low heat.  Simmer for 5 minutes, then remove from heat.  Use a strainer to remove the petals and let the milk cool for 5 minutes.

  3. Add ice to the cup with the matcha.  Pour the cooled rose milk on top.  Stir and garnish with additional rose petals
