Mexican Spiced Hot Chocolate
INGREDIENTS
4 cups Mariani Vanilla Walnutmilk
¼ cup granulated sugar
3 tablespoons cocoa powder
¼ teaspoon each: cinnamon, nutmeg, ground cayenne
½ cup semi-sweet chocolate chips or chopped chocolate
Optional: marshmallows, for topping
INSTRUCTIONS
Add the walnutmilk, sugar, cocoa powder, and spices to a large pot over medium-low heat. Stir over heat for 3-6 minutes, until the cocoa powder has melted into the milk.
Add the chocolate chips to the pot and stir over heat for 5-10 minutes until all of the chocolate has melted.
Pour the hot chocolate into 4 mugs and top with marshmallows if desired.
