Apple Cider Donuts


INGREDIENTS

For the donuts

  • 2 cups flour

  • 1 teaspoon baking soda

  • ½ teaspoon baking powder

  • 2 teaspoons cinnamon

  • ½ teaspoon salt

  • ½ cup apple cider

  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil

  • 1 egg

  • ½ cup brown sugar

  • ½ cup granulated sugar

  • ½ cup Mariani Walnutmilk

For the topping

  • ¾ cup sugar

  • 1 ½ teaspoons cinnamon


INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees and grease a donut pan.

  2. In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon, and salt.

  3. In a separate bowl, whisk together the apple cider, vegetable oil, egg, sugars, and walnutmilk.

  4. Add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and mix until combined.

  5. Spoon the batter into the donut pan and bake for 10 minutes.

  6. While the donuts are baking, make the sugar topping. Whisk together the sugar and cinnamon until evenly combined.

  7. When the donuts are finished baking, allow them to cool for 10-15 minutes. Toss them in the cinnamon sugar topping while they are still warm.
