Vegan Chocolate Mug Cakes


INGREDIENTS

  • ¼ cup all-purpose flour

  • ¼ cup sugar

  • ¼ cup cocoa powder

  • ¼ teaspoon salt

  • ½ teaspoon baking powder

  • ¼ cup + 2 tablespoons Mariani Vanilla Walnutmilk

  • ¼ cup canola oil

  • ¼ cup vegan semi-sweet chocolate chips

  • Optional: whipped cream and a dusting of cocoa powder, for topping


INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Combine the flour, sugar, cocoa powder, salt, and baking powder to a medium bowl and whisk until combined.

  2. Add the walnutmilk and canola oil to the dry ingredients and whisk until smooth.

  3. Fold in the chocolate chips.

  4. Spoon the batter into 2 mugs. Place one of the mugs in the microwave and microwave for 1 minute. Repeat with the second mug.

  5. Top with toppings of your choice, serve, and enjoy!
